Lip Neutralization

Lighten darker lip tones

Lip discoloration can occur for a variety of reasons, including smoking or natural variations in pigmentation. Lip neutralization is a gentle, precise technique designed to even out color, creating a harmonious, natural, and beautifully uniform tone across the lips.

For individuals with naturally dark lips who desire a soft, natural pink shade, this technique gently lightens the natural lip color, creating beautifully pink-toned, balanced lips.

Clients with darker lips who desire a brighter pink, or a subtle “lipstick effect,” should complete one or two sessions of lip neutralization before their lip blushing treatment to achieve the most even and vibrant results.

Make it

For individuals with pale or naturally pink lips who wish to enhance their natural color and achieve a soft, natural lip-stain effect, lip blush offers a subtle, radiant enhancement.

Clients play an active role in selecting their ideal shade. We provide a curated palette of warm tones that complement each client’s unique skin undertone, ensuring beautifully natural, healthy-looking results.

Lip FAQs

Does lip bush and lip neutralization hurt?

Lips are naturally sensitive, so some mild discomfort may be experienced during the procedure. To ensure your comfort, a topical numbing agent is applied throughout the treatment. For the most comfortable experience, we recommend avoiding coffee beforehand, as it can heighten sensitivity.

How long do results last?

Lip blush and lip neutralization typically last between 2–5 years. Factors such as smoking, prolonged sun exposure, and inconsistent aftercare can influence the longevity of your results. To maintain beautifully vibrant and even-toned lips, we recommend annual touch-ups as part of your ongoing lip care routine.

Can I do lip blushing if I have fillers?

Yes, lip blushing and lip fillers complement each other beautifully. For optimal results, we recommend spacing the treatments at least four weeks apart. It’s best to have fillers applied first, followed by lip blushing, to ensure the most precise and harmonious outcome.

What is the healing process like?

Lip blushing typically takes 6–8 weeks to fully heal. Immediately after your treatment, your lips may appear bright and slightly swollen for 24–48 hours. Within the first few days, gentle peeling may occur. After peeling, the color will appear lighter, gradually brightening over 1–2 weeks. Overall, the healed color will settle to approximately 50–60% of the initial intensity. For clients with darker lips, the color may deepen slightly during healing but will naturally soften and lighten within the 8-week period.

Can I still wear lipstick after?

Yes, absolutely. Once fully healed, lip blushing will not interfere with wearing your favorite lipstick.
